Bristol International Balloon Fiesta
The Bristol Fiesta is one of the largest free public attended event in Europe and the media love it. In 2014 the BBC and ITV plus other TV stations attended in force, with both main channels setting up live links to the Fiesta for the Breakfast News. BBC Points West also broadcast their show live from the Fiesta. Add to this the newspapers, magazines, photographers and of course the Social Media all helped make the total reach of the fiesta broadcasted media reach a staggering 2.8bn people.
